2010 Church Planters Academy Begins |

 Seven prospective church planters gathered for the first full day of training at the SEAMIST Training Center in Cebu on Monday, May 17. This day marks the beginning of six weeks of intensive study and practice geared to help SEAMIST workers to effectively preach the gospel and plant the church in South East Asia.
Classes chosen for the training this year include the World Missions Course, Cross-Cultural Living, World Religions, Prayer and Spiritual Warfare, Story Telling, Cross-Cultural Insights, Planting Indigenous Churches, The Life of Paul, and Goal Setting.
Other areas such as support raising are covered in special sessions. One of the families attending are expected to go soon to the mission field. Some of the younger trainees will go on to practice in their home churches and in SEAMIST outreaches.
