The occassional awards ceremonies sponsored by SEAMIST mark the progress and recognize the achievments of the trainees and workers in the South East Asia Mission Teams organization.

During this evening of praising God for getting us through, we will be recognizing the hard work and loyalty of several people who are at various stages of their missions career.

Several of the Nigerians will have finished "basic pre-field training" and will be finally deciding about their future with SEAMIST.  The Uchime family have been here one year now, and are just beginning to dig into their first church plant here in the Philippines.

Davelyn Diola, although in Thailand, will be given a nice Cross pen to commemorate 5 years in SEAMIST.  So also will Ken Bartz, on staff almost 6 years.  Leonida Cordova has served with SEAMIST for five years and will receive her pen as well.

Pastor Manu from the ISOM office will present Certificates of Completion to Syrobie Lostomen and Elaiza Rondina for finishing the first three trimesters of the ISOM course.  By next year they will receive Diplomas in Bible Study for completing all 5.

Various other awards will be presented for loyalty and accomplishment.  We will really miss our beloved Pastor Rodel Cordova, but his life and and all his hard work in God's Kingdom, especially among the Aeta tribals of Mabinay will always be remembered.
