Short Term Missions With Alaska Church March 2 |

Pastor Vic Abalos, pastor of both the Mactan Community Christian Church in Lapu Lapu City and the Filipino bible Church in Anchorage, Alaska, will be leading a team of Filipino overseas workers from Alaska in an outreach on Negros Island the first week in March.
This short-term missions outreach is the result of the saints in the Alaska church taking the Condensed World Missions Course in 2008. They realized that they wanted to be more involved in missions, so decided that they wanted to do a short term trip to get exposed to missionary field work.
They decided to come to their "home country" and minister to a group of the neediest of their fellowmen. The plan is that they will share medical care, food, and clothing along with the good news of the Kingdom of God with Bukidnon families in the area of Canlaon City.
Please pray that the Lord will go before them and prepare the hearts of the Bukidnon for the gospel, and that He would prepare the hearts of the short-term missionaries to love these people as the Lord loves them. Pray also for the SEAMIST workers who will host and help this group. Pray that the entire trip will be a big success for the Bukidnon, for the missionaries, and for the SEAMIST helpers!
